Pomodoro timer

A 25 minute focus session, then a short or long break when you are ready.

Focus 1 of 4

25:00

Space starts or pauses. R resets. F fills the screen.

This block waits when it ends. Press the next step when you are ready. A long break follows 4 focus sessions. Current block is 25 minutes.

Saves the focus length, breaks, cycle, sound, and display. A running session stays on this page until you reset it.

How to use it

  1. The page opens on a 25 minute focus block. Press Start. That is the whole setup for a standard session.
  2. Pause keeps the remaining time. Reset returns to a fresh focus block and clears the session count.
  3. When a block ends, press the next step, or turn on Continues on its own before you start.
  4. A long break follows the number of focus sessions you set. The default is four.

Limits to know

  • The chime plays only while this tab is open. A sleeping device or a closed tab can miss it.
  • Automatic continuation starts the next block once. It does not skip through several missed sessions if you were away.
  • This is not a task list. It only tracks the current focus or break.

Questions

Does the Pomodoro start as soon as the page opens?

No. It waits at 25:00, or at the lengths you saved, until you press Start.

Will the break start by itself?

Only if Continues on its own is on. Otherwise the finished block waits and the next button names the short break, long break, or next focus.

Can a closed laptop play the focus chime?

No. Sound needs this tab to stay open on an awake device. Preview is not required; the chime uses the sound you selected after you press Start.

Can I put a Pomodoro on another website?

Yes. The widget builder makes an iframe for a Classic 25/5, Deep work 50/10, or Short focus 15/5 session. Each viewer gets a fresh timer. Closing the browser does not keep it running.
