Online alarm clock

Pick the next time you want, check the date, and test the sound before you arm it.

This alarm rings only while the tab is open and the device is awake. Closing the page, locking the screen, or sleeping the computer can miss it. If the time passes while the browser is suspended, Clockbeam marks it expired and does not play a stale alarm when you return.

Next occurrence: Mon, October 12, 2026 at 7:00 AM (UTC).

F fills the screen.

Sound stays off until you test it or arm the alarm. Status: unarmed.

How to use it

  1. Choose a time and a time zone. The page shows the next real occurrence, including the date.
  2. If daylight saving skips that minute, use the corrected time. If the minute happens twice, choose earlier or later.
  3. Test the sound, then arm the alarm. Arming does not start until you press the button.
  4. Snooze moves the alarm five minutes ahead. Dismiss clears it.
  5. Fullscreen puts the alarm time in the center of the screen. Press Escape or Exit to leave.

Limits to know

  • There is no background alarm and no lock-screen alert. The tab has to stay open on an awake device.
  • A missed alarm is marked expired when you return. It does not play after the fact.
  • Changing the zone while an alarm is armed asks you to confirm, because the target instant does not silently move.

Questions

Which time zone is the alarm using?

The zone in the Time zone menu. It starts as this device zone. The next-occurrence line shows the local date before you arm it.

What happens on a daylight saving change?

A time that does not exist, such as 2:30 when the clock jumps to 3:00, is rejected until you accept the corrected time. A repeated hour asks you to pick the earlier or later occurrence.

Will this alarm ring if my laptop is closed?

No. Treat it as a tab you leave open on a machine that stays awake. Use a phone alarm when you need a guaranteed wake-up.
